JDC Consulting, LLC provides consulting services exclusively to legal organizations. Our consultants advise leading firms on managing risks, providing solutions, and driving profitability and efficiency.
At JDC Consulting, LLC, our core values help law firms, law departments, and legal corporations prepare more compliant, effective, e-billing and paper invoices—with less internal resources. This allows an organization to allocate administrative resources to where they can be most effective. Billing department staff may not have the legal skills or backgrounds needed to analyze invoices for guideline compliance or the auditing experience to successfully recoup lost billing on appeal. We examine mistakes, clerical errors, rate discrepancies and insure that every invoice complies with any carrier guidelines and/or generally accepted auditing principles.
Our firm consists of a consultant team that are legal professionals, trained legal auditors and licensed adjusters. The team leverages strategic and leadership advice of the legal function, and how to advise clients on best practices to improve productivity and profitability for their organization.

As President, Jayne Carlson has overall responsibility for JDC’s workplace accounts, specializing in mediation services, regulatory affairs, litigation management, and corporate governance. Prior to JDC Consulting, Mrs. Carlson assumed roles as a legal analyst, legal bill auditor, and client advisor for three major international insurance companies and for two major international law firms. Jayne is an active member on CLM and serves on the CLM DE&I committee as well as a member of Mediate.com
